I am extremely distressed and saddened at the news of Buell’s unexpected demise. How dare Harley do this? This is to the motorcycle world as the demise of Ford would be to the automotive world. It is my hope that by some miracle, someone, Erik Buell included, buys out the Buell name and continues producing America’s most important sport motorcycle. Could the MoCo not wait a year or two and see if the economy rebounds? What about a bailout? Someone wake me up from this terrible nightmare.
