I was browsing the internet and came across the website for the "new" Vincent motorcycles. I seem to vaguely remember an article about this fabled company's revival a few years back, but then figured that, like most motorcycle company resurrections, this died before it even got started. I really wasn't expecting to come across a website. Does anybody know any more about this? Is the new Vincent still alive?

Yeah! Been looking at the Indian's LOL! They are just a little too steep for me!LOL But I think they're really sharp looking. I guess they will have a narrow market. I would like to see Indian succeed in the market place. Time will tell.

Is Indian at it again? They went out of business a few years ago.

Indian is back again! They were resuscitated by a group of English
business people, their factory is in N.C.

See http://www.indianmotorcycle.com/

I think they are great looking but, they are too pricey for me!

I'm not surprised! I believe the new ones started at 28K and go as high
as 39K. I would think parts would be scarce and expensive for the old rebuilt ones too! I think I'll stay with my 00' VStar Classic, LOL!
A HD look-a-like!

The website shows them starting at 20k. Too expensive for me.

Thanks for all the feedback...Yeah. 20K is a lot to pay for a motorcycle...for me anyway. I am surprised that the website is a bit vague as to how to go about getting one. The most current date one can find on the website is 2004! That's why I wasn't totally sure on what the deal was with them. Beautiful bikes though and probably worth every penny!
