Welcome to the forum! I assume you ride a Star. Which one?
My ride is an 00 VStar Classic 650. How's the weather in So. IL.?
Getting snow here in So.CT. I guess now is the time for it.

Actually I am now riding an 08 Vulcan nomad. Before this last Memorial Day weekend I rode an 05 Midnight Custom 1100 aka blackstar. Loved the yammie just wanted something a little more relaxed on the superslab. (even though I still try to avoid it if possible).Weather in So Il is sucking right now V-Star guy, hadn't been able to get out for close to a month. Just marking time till warmer weather...

I hear you. It's around 26 deg. here, and they predict all snow for the weekend. All I know is my wife and I are staying home New years eve, eating some home cooked food, lighting a fire and watchin' it snow!
