What kind of pipes do you run?.. I have a set of 2 and 3/4 inch HardKrome pipes. They're loud ( deafenning on long rides ) I like the deep sound and rumble i get from them. I only have one complaint about them, they get rust spots. I have the original pipes hanging on my fence and they have been there for three years now. They don't have as much rust as these Hardkromes that are about 3 years old.. I don't know about ya'all but pipes ainte cheep. I just expected a higher quality of chrome from the aftermarket. I'm going to change the straight through baffles to some quieter ones just to save my hearing a little, i don't like wearing ear plugz on long rides. Hey ya'all give me some feed back on this subject. I know everyones got their own style and preferences when it comes to our scooters. I'll check back later..... Hawg out..... Later Ya'all.....
New pix of my 2006 vstar 650 classic with the new 2 3/4 inch hardkrome pipes, bags and the high five air cleaner.

Hooker True Dual Turn Down/Turn Outs w/fishtail ends. Look cool, sound great. Fit and finish is less than desired. Will be getting RB Racing LSR 2 into 1s soon.

I became a fan a few years ago after Greenman turned me onto them. It just took a while to get over the twice pipes.

well...that's funny...my buddy rides a Road King with True Duals....not sure what make, some kind of H-D brand I think....but I always thought they had a decent sound compared to my old SE pipes....but ever since I put the RB Pipes on....his bike sounds like schit to me now....just my opinion off course.....performance wise......I can outdistance him thru' the gears, but he still has better top end, ( he has the 103 engine plus that 6th gear )
Anyway...would love to hear what you think after you've put them on...please keep us posted....
