ha ha ha, im FROM NH, but i got out of that mess(weather wise) for Tejas.

A bit of a beer wasteland(although not as bad as the midwest) but i can ride mostly all year.

Found this in Maui a few years ago, and every so often, find a few 6 packs locally. Good dark beer brewed with coffee. mmmmmm Picked this up about an hour ago.....

I had that a few weeks ago, actually still have some in my fridge. Too much coffee flavor for me, but i bet after i age what i have left it will be better. My wife actually found it at a Wal Mart of all places.

This state is getting better for beer as time goes on. Some real good local stuff(freetail brewing, NxNw, Draughthouse, st. arnold just for a few) and we do get some interesting stuff, just not as much as i used to be able to get from Ma and Nh. Slowly but surely though, Tejas is coming out of the beer dark ages.

Hello everyone. I am looking forward to hearing about what Volusia and Boulevard riders enjoy about riding. I own a Blue & Black 2005 C50 with deep blue led's under the tank. The lights are to highlight the engine and me while driving at night. Seems to work especially well in towns and cities were drivers do not seem to notice much while yaking on the cell. But the lights seem to garner some attention and keeps them away from me.

I have to admit I signed up in hopes to find a rider as looney as myself. I just really enjoy the drive and I am beginning to think about doing a major long haul ride from Key West, FL. to Dead Horse, AK. The problem I see is the ride in Alaska is too long between gas stations fillups. I estimate I will need to at least double the size of my gas tank. Most likely a little more than that since I will be fully loaded with gear. Anyway this event will not happen for a couple of years but I am a long term planner so I am beginning the process now.

I am hoping there will be some of you fellow riders thinking similar crazy, but fun thoughts; or maybe you actually have done something like this already; and are willing to share some thoughts, ideas, observations or laughs at my expense. I don't care.

Hope to talk soon.

Aerostitch is hitting the Haul Road this June, with a sag wagon. Tour-Tank makes IBA approved auxiliary (sp?) fuel tanks. Clarke MFG. also makes fuel cells, but with more of a dirt bent.

Open offer, if I am home when ya roll thru the NW, will have a beer and a place to toss up a tent for ya.

As far as looney, go read "Where did you ride today?" Some of the rides are normal, some are not so....

Hey Vstar guy! To answer your question about So Cal.... it is kind of expensive to live here in some places, but it all depends on where you live in So Cal.

If you live by the coast it's pricier than if you are 10-minutes in land. I think anywhere in the country where you live a mile and a half from the beach, it's between 60 and 80 all year round and there is a beautiful view in every director is going to be a little pricier expensive. Those people who live in the white houses on the hills-- yeah, THOSE are expensive!! I have decided those people must all be dentists and plastic surgeons...

If you go from Ventura to Oxnard (a 10 minute drive) the prices decrease significantly.

Of course living in some parts of LA is expensive... but it's very comparable to any other city like New York or Chicago: Of course where you live within the city determines how much it will cost. You want to be in the heart of it all, you better have the big bucks!

Ok, I am done with my novel about SO Cal now

JS-- How are you liking the website so far? Also, how are you liking So Cal?
