At the end of the trace just outside Nashville there is a place called Loveless Cafe. Great food. HH
riding, eating, riding some more. Great trip. Did ya map it? got a link?
We just got back from an 8 day family trip. The right front floor of the truck is piled up with new maps, state travel glossies, and local and regional tourism brochures.
This stuff is like glazed old fashioned donuts for me, just don't know when to stop!
I have it mapped on my computer. I'll see what I can do about loading a copy on the page. Soory it has taken a while to get back with you. HH

Ok. The hot dog cart is now a Gourmet Grilled cheese cart. I haven't started on pedestrian mall downtown yet, but have done a couple of days at a small farmer's market, not good business but good practice. Worked a friend's music festival last night. Did pretty good, and learned tons. I think it will do well, so do a lot of folks. So, I will be letting you know.

...that's pretty neat...a new slant on the hot-dog stand....gourmet grilled cheese...what a good idea...different...should appeal to a lot of people...if I had a choice between a hot-dog and grilled cheese sandwich...I'd go for the cheese sandwich...no question...sounds like a winner to me !

I went to the Thunder in the Rockies Rally this weekend in Loveland, CO and had a good time except for the miserable heat (97 F.) I know, it was probably hotter in FLA. or TX or AZ. But that's about as hot as I can take while riding a very hot motorcycle, or standing on black asphalt all day.
It was held at the beautiful Thunder Mountain H-D dealership, with thousands of bikes, babes, and much beer. There's a Hooters right next door, but mama wouldn't let me go in there.
H-D had their demo fleet there, and I got to ride a V-Rod Muscle, XR1200X, and a Road Glide Ultra....all nice machines. The guy that rode the Ultra before me went into the showroom and bought the identical one off the floor. I saw a CVO Ultra go out the door a couple minutes later. I bought a t-shirt.
I was wondering where these big spenders are coming from in this bad economy. Some people don't seem to be bothered at all, and I'm trying to justify spending $20 on some new doodad.
Well, we got in a nice ride there and back home, but somewhere in between, my wife was overheated and just keeled over on the pavement. We moved her to a small patch of grass and some nice lady put a cold wet towel on her face and neck. She revived a few minutes later and seemed OK after that.
We sat awhile and just watched the parade of people go by. Man, that's entertainment right there. All in all, a good weekend.

Thanks Greenman, and everyone else. I have been doing a Saturday farmer's market, and slowly business has picked up. All I have to do with some folks is show them that this ain't no 2 slices of Wonder bread with some Kraft singles. Most people are very supportive and love the idea, maybe even more than I do. That motivates me.
