So, I had that experience with the guy doing my handlebars, and stopped going there. I think he's almost out of business anyway. So, I go to another place to get new throttle and idle cables, because the aforementioned stuffed them through the nacell and they bound up. I ordered them going on 3 weeks ago. They haven't come in yet. I will try a third place. WTF??? Are motorcycle shops/mechanics just supposed to be flakes?

This place here, 2 Wheelers, owned by charter Hamster member Arlan Fatland, has a pair of cables in stock. They only want $53 a piece. I called Rocky Mountain Harley, they said they would look and call me back. That was yesterday afternoon, and yes I am still waiting. I ask you WTF!?!?!?

Recession is over, the country is healed, and HD is back in bidness. "We don't care, we don't have to"

Not true at all shops, but right now there are only 2 dealerships in the area that get my business, Columbia HD in Vancouver WA, and Northwest HD in Lacey, WA.

You should check this eBay store for your cables:
http://stores.ebay.com/Hill-Country-Custom-Cycles

I had ordered braided clutch and brake lines from them when I went with my 16in apes. Fast shipping and they also have custom length.

I'm right here - wondering the same thing you are.

Everybody hibernating?

Taking the raod Glide (and the wife) out to the Grand Canyon in June.

New Corbin 2up Seat
New (taller) windshield
New Highway Pegs
New travel bag and saddle bag liners

Now I need some opinions from you guys on pipes and stage one.

Since the 2010 only has one pipe anyway, I'm thinking that opens my options up a bit.

RB racing (per Greenman) do look good. Any other opinions?

Also, what about stage one? I have it on my RKC with SE slip on's and it for sure "feels" like it has more torque than the road glide that is 96" as opposed to the King that is 88".

Not sure if it is an actual payoff or not?

Also, anyone know if there is a good reason why I couldn't just use my car GPS? The ones they make for motorcycle are almost 10X as expensive.
